General Service and Liability Notice
Monkey’s Tire Shop is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, wear, defects, or damage to tires, wheels, sensors, suspension, alignment, or other vehicle components not directly caused by our service. This includes rusted or seized lug nuts or bolts, cracked or bent wheels, dry rot, damaged rims, previously damaged TPMS sensors, aftermarket or modified parts, manufacturer defects, or improper prior repairs.
Monkey’s Tire Shop is not responsible for damage resulting from road hazards, accidents, misuse, neglect, or issues that occur after service is completed.
Service Standards and Limitations
All services are performed according to manufacturer specifications and recommended procedures when applicable. Aftermarket, damaged, non-serviceable, or improperly installed parts, as well as lack of proper alignment, may void or forfeit any service guarantees.
Non-Repairable Damage
Tires with sidewall damage are unsafe and cannot be repaired. Replacement will be recommended in accordance with industry safety standards.
Pricing and Additional Charges
Prices vary based on tire size, tire type, services performed, existing damage, and service difficulty. Additional labor or service charges may apply when extra time, special tools, or non-standard procedures are required.
Before any service(s) is/are completed we will let the customer(s) know the costs and upon verbal approval said services will be conducted. Only after cost is agreed upon will services be provided. After service/ product(s) are provided payment will be received.
Vehicles or tires containing sealants or chemicals, including Fix-A-Flat or similar products, may be subject to additional labor and hazardous waste handling fees.
Hazardous Waste and Disposal Fees
Hazardous waste and environmental disposal fees may be charged for the proper handling and disposal of used tires, sealants, chemicals, wheel weights, lubricants, and contaminated materials. These fees are separate from labor and tire costs
Right to Refuse Service and Safety Policy
Monkey’s Tire Shop reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or vehicle at our sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, customers or third parties who are rude, abusive, threatening, intoxicated, impaired, reckless, or who otherwise create an unsafe or disruptive environment.
For the safety of employees and customers, service may also be refused to individuals engaging in enforcement or investigative activity, including ICE or other agencies, that interferes with normal business operations, or to anyone whose behavior presents a safety or security risk on the premises.
Monkey’s Tire Shop also reserves the right to refuse service on any vehicle deemed unsafe to service.
Customer Access to Work Areas
For safety and insurance reasons, customers and non-employees are not permitted in service bays, work areas, or employee-only areas while work is being performed. Customers may be escorted into the work area by an employee only to view or discuss a specific issue with their vehicle. Afterward, customers must return to the waiting area until service is completed. Monkey’s Tire Shop is not responsible for injury or damage resulting from unauthorized entry into work areas.
Overnight Vehicles and Property
Monkey’s Tire Shop is not responsible for vehicles, parts, or personal items left on the premises overnight or beyond the day of service unless prior arrangements have been made and paid for in advance.
